Commitments

  • To reduce the production of waste, it is important to limit packaging at the hotel breakfast buffet, where there is no single-use packaging - everything has been thought of and organised with this in mind. Our products are bought and packaged in large packs, our tea bags are biodegradable and we fill them by hand, the butter is simply cut up and placed in a cloche. The yoghurts are homemade.
    Reducing also means paying attention to our energy and water consumption. Internally, we always try to identify any leaks as quickly as possible, and we don't systematically recoat...

  • Making the most of the waste we produce. We recycle compost, glass and packaging. Batteries, ink cartridges and light bulbs are of course disposed of in special containers. The black and yellow bins are separate, glass bottles are systematically removed from the black bags and we have a receptacle for composting tea bags.

  • Ecology also means a lot of creativity to find a second life for products instead of throwing them away. We reuse Viennese pastry paper as baking paper, we customise curtains with Provençal fabrics, and we hand-make lampshades to modernise existing lamps. Of course, we also find old furniture and carefully renovate it. Recurring waste materials such as bottle caps and TPE roll holders are stored for creative workshops with children.
