Seasons come and go, but the team members stay: perhaps that's why we have such a benevolent and relevant human resources policy.
Over the years, special times have become established within the school. They offer us a break, a chance to step back from our day-to-day tasks, and are real opportunities for team cohesion:
...at 10.30 when the clock strikes the break is a time when the floor and breakfast teams get together for a coffee, a glass of juice or a pancake. We talk about our lives, our personal problems and our successes. It's also a chance to catch up with old friends from La Muette who come along to say hello. It's a not-to-be-missed event!
Once a week, a small team meets to work on specific needs, such as developing a new communication plan or setting up a new team organisation. These coordination meetings are open to everyone: experts and learners alike.
Once a quarter, we go on an outing funded by the hotel. These outings enable us to discover local partners. They take place outside working hours and are of course not compulsory. The most recent outings have been canoeing, horse-riding and cycling. It's a great way to get to know each other better, to understand each other better, to accept each other better and to appreciate each other better. It's a great way to discover our beautiful region.
Each team member has a one-to-one meeting with the establishment's HR consultant, who uses a series of questions to identify any problems encountered, personal development aspirations or specific needs. Following these interviews, an improvement plan is put in place. These interviews also provide a long-term perspective, enabling us to find out whether people have development plans or personal projects.
As part of its human resources policy, the hotel also has a salary scale that varies according to seniority and the arduousness of the tasks performed. Someone is always on hand to provide the best possible information when drawing up and reading pay slips.
Charm, mystery and encounters: these three words resonate at La Muette.
A building steeped in history that will arouse everyone's curiosity!
This place is linked to the people who work there.
Who's behind the La Muette team?
A fine blend of cultural riches and scattered origins.
A team united by the same values & whose ambition is to always give you a warm welcome.
That's Meriem! She's in charge of the floors and knows the rooms like no-one else. She takes care of all the equipment, and is often called in to repair it - with brio. She makes the household products for La Muette. A recent discovery, she is a marvellous Arabic teacher: precise and pedagogical. With a mind of steel and a wicked sense of humour, she's always got a laugh!
This is Olivier, ready to delight your taste buds and serve you a good drink. He's the one who prepares the delicious recipes for the Café Bar, and he'll be able to tell you all about them... A second-hand ready-to-wear retailer, his days are very long. A man of taste and a rare gentleness, he will always welcome you and make sure you have a good time.
And here's Abigael, always full of joy and energy! You'll find her at breakfast, in the Café Bar and at reception. She spreads her good vibes to the whole team on a daily basis and is in charge of team cohesion: the organisation is improving day by day thanks to her. Having arrived in France as a language teacher, she knows how to handle words and always finds the right ones (in several languages!). She is culturally open and accepts others in their entirety. And to top it all off, she prepares local specialities that are all the rage.
Young by her age, but with a great deal of responsibility. Oumayma has remarkable composure, perfect for crisis situations. Rigorous and precise, her work is invaluable.
We got to know her when she did her first vocational baccalaureate course, and this year she's back for a bachelor's degree in business development! She's in charge of promoting the café's campaigns and also works in the purchasing department.
Ambitious and full of ideas, Oumayma is sure to have more surprises in store for us.
There's Sebastian! At such a young age, he has an unfailing perceptiveness. He develops and implements the hotel's communication plan, working on the SEO of the website, the graphic charter, etc. He is a driving force behind the Café Bar's commercial development. Curious to discover the world of business, he takes part in strategic thinking. Willing and always eager to help, he's a great team player.
You'll find Karima's infectious smile on the floors or behind the counter. She's the one who'll treat you to her Moroccan or Italian specialities. She has a knack for embellishing everything she touches, from the pink napkins to the ganache in her macaroons. Behind the stove she amazes us with her ingenuity. Just as behind her gentle discretion lies a woman of character who knows what she wants!
Iman, always motivated and relaxed, is the one you'll hear laughing most often. The cornerstone of our breakfasts, she prepares homemade cakes with gourmet flair. In the morning, her serenity and gentleness will help you get up in a good mood! She's also present on the floors, and always has useful ideas and demands to put at the service of the group.
Sylvie, the brains behind La Muette since the start of the adventure! An expert in conflict resolution, she tames the wind and explores the world without a compass. Her ingenuity and tenacity enable her to find solutions to every problem, no matter how unexpected or risky. She is in charge of the hotel's most varied and less obvious missions, from financial management to operational tasks. A true tightrope walker full of innovative ideas. And all with a warm smile!
